At Tagge’s, we believe local food should be easy, exciting, and delicious. We are looking for a creative, motivated baker to help bring our farm produce to life through fresh baked goods, grab-and-go meals, seasonal treats, and value-added products for our fruit stands and CSA program.

This position is more than just baking. We want someone who can help us reduce food waste, utilize extra farm produce, create exciting seasonal items, and make customers excited to cook and eat local.

You’ll help turn peaches into muffins, zucchini into bread, tomatoes into focaccia, berries into desserts, sourdough into sandwiches, and farm extras into products customers crave every week.

Position Overview

We are looking for a self-starter who can manage and run a small farm kitchen with creativity, organization, and initiative. The ideal person loves baking, seasonal cooking, local food, and coming up with new ideas.

This role includes recipe development, production baking, kitchen organization, inventory management, packaging, and helping create a strong bakery program for our farm stands and CSA customers.


Responsibilities
‍
• Bake fresh products for fruit stands and CSA add-ons
• Develop seasonal baked goods using farm fruits and vegetables
• Help reduce food waste by creatively utilizing extra produce
• Create and test new recipes throughout the season
• Make products such as:
   • Sourdough breads
   • Muffins
   • Cookies
   • Brownies
   • Fruit crisps & cobblers
   • Hand pies
   • Seasonal cakes
   • Zucchini breads
   • Tomato focaccia
   • Fruit bars
   • Grab-and-go meals or freezer meals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
• Keep track of inventory and kitchen supply needs
• Help source ingredients and communicate ordering needs
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Package and label products for retail sale
• Work with the Tagge’s team on seasonal ideas and promotions
• Assist with production planning during peach season, holidays, pumpkin season, and busy harvest weeks

We are seeking a Retail - Fruit Sellers to work at our Farm stand Open the first week of June till November 1st. Monday- Sunday. Peach Days weekend is mandatory to work.
